A face behind the brand

My name is Lill H. Navarro. Graduated in Business + Swimwear and Corsetry Design. Grew up exploring the Caribbean with my parents, where my passion for swimming suits started!
​
In 2015, I started Awamaia, sewing the first collection at home, which quickly became our first workshop in Venezuela. It was well recieved by our costumers thanks to our Rubber-less Pattern.
​
Two years later I was forced to flee away from Venezuela, due to a strong political/economical crisis. With the sorrow of knowing that I will miss home everyday, I took a bag-pack full with good memories, hope and of course, Awamaia: A little piece of the Caribbean turned into bikini designs, which I hope you enjoy very much!
